Went here yesterday for the first time and was highly impressed. The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the course was absolutely beautiful. It was very well maintained, and had some very interesting holes that were well thought out and really fun to play. It seemed a little pricey at $68 for two 9 hole courses and a small bucket of balls to practice with, but honestly, it was well worth it. Im going there again today. I highly recommend this place for sure.

Mane, you can’t go wrong with selecting Chicopee for a round of golf… ⛳️ Like Sugar Hill, it’s a city course and well maintained. They have 27 holes, Mill/Village/School and they operate it like 2 courses. Today, April 17, the course was still transitioning from winter and green fairways weren’t prominent. But the greens were the best I have seen all year and rolling pure. The Marshalls were cool and respectful; in fact, they ushered us to another 9 after they realized our 9 and 13 handicaps were stuck behind the Post Master’s Crowd 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿 The cart girl is a vet and she will take care of your needs. The club house is clean and golf ready. The grill used to be the bomb with a bad ass cook but I’m not sure if he is still working. I didn’t visit today. With that, Chicopee GC is an old gem in Gainesville and worth the drive. It’s a step above Royal Lakes and Chattahoochee GC. The course is fair and the pace of play is usually 4 hours or less. However, my only complaint is the price hike!! Holy Cow Batman, the prices have jumped about $25 for both week days and the weekends. Today I paid $60 but the weekend is clocking in at a cool $90-$100! WTH! Chimneys in Winder did the same thing, as municipal course. If you play, call M-TH.

Enjoyed a round. Really enjoyed the course a lot. Was my first time. The course has a great layout. This was the day after a huge rain storm in the area and still loved it. Great helpful friendly staff. Really great pro shop with a lot of stuff. Greens rolled great even after a aeration that must have been a couple weeks ago. Look forward to playing a tourney there Monday.

It was my first time playing this course, and I was impressed with the experience. It was a challenging but fair course. Beautiful scenery. And, the price was right. I read several reviews about the slow play, but we kept ahead of pace the entire round. Friendly staff in the pro shop. Definitely looking forward to playing again.

I love this golf course. It is one of the most beautiful golf courses I have played. That being said, I have never, not once, walked away feeling good about their customer service. Today is the first day I am pissed off enough to post about it. Today is rainy. Agreed. Not too rainy to play on the course. Apparently rainy enough to close the driving range on Memorial Weekend. Thats fine. They even have a big red “closed” sign outside which I missed on the right because I was looking at the range. I get setup and then go back to the ball machine and find no buckets. I go inside the shack where they inform me its closed today, big red sign. Cool. I walk back to my bag and there are 2 leftover balls there. I see hundreds of balls out on the range. No big deal if I send these 2 out there. Dude comes running out of the shack to tell me not to hit them. I said “not even just these 2?” “No!” Anyways, I have like 8 tokens left from that driving range. I hope I can sell them.
