Read this before leaving your nasty comment: In the summer of 2025, the golf course superintendent passed away. Unfortunately, the team was not educated on keeping the course conditions up, and so it fell into disarray. There were 4 months without proper direction and a superintendent. In October 2025, the new superintendent was hired and started working immediately. The greens were burnt out, some completely dead. They were overseeded for the winter, and this helped some - still not perfect. Growing grass amidst a drought and end of season conditions is virtually impossible. An irrigation pipe that ran under the cart path on #4 blew out the week before he started, leaving all irrigation off until repairs were made by the new guy. The cart path above this leak collapsed at the bridge head wall for #4, and has yet to be fixed at the time of this review. This re-routes golfers back to #2 and over to the green on #4 next to #5 tee. An inconvenience? Yes, but golfers can still play this hole. This leads me to my next statement - the irrigation pipes are OLD. Like really old. This causes a lot of irrigation issues on the course with constant leaks and blow outs. The team has done a great job at fixing many of these issues, and continue to work hard every day addressing these issues - you’ll more than likely see them during your round. The new superintendent has worked hard to bring the greens back to playable conditions, and although not anywhere near ideal or perfect, they have come a long way. If the guys are watering the greens mid-day, what’s the big deal? I’d rather see effort getting the grass to grow, then let them die or regress further. I would have no issue waiting just a few minutes knowing the water is only helping. If they don’t water, grass doesn’t grow, and being in the biggest drought since 2011, does it not make since that water is being ran almost all day here? After all, there’s no option of running water at night here - remember the old irrigation system I was talking about? There’s your answer to “why are they watering the green when I just teed off?”. Some of the greens will be re-sodded here in the next month, and so will many of the tees that people suggest are “just dirt”. This will improve the course conditions drastically, and hopefully deter some of the negative publicity the course has received in the last 6-8 months. Being the busiest course in the state of GA, most can understand it’s hard to get things done, especially with an unreliable irrigation system. With that said, don’t expect perfect conditions, especially at the cost you are paying to play. Just go out there, have fun, and enjoy the game of golf. You will see things improve over time, and most have noticed the small details that have. I firmly believe this course is headed in the right direction, especially after being at an all time low for this property. Don’t let the negative comments deter you from playing here, unless you’re expecting Augusta conditions. Be patient, respect the work that is being done here, and just enjoy your time on the course. If you do those 3 things, you’ll have a blast. After all, you’re not breaking the bank to play here. If you read this, and are still upset, go somewhere else!

A fun course with thick grass offering a good hitting surface. A great place to work on the game for reasonable price. This course is in Atlanta staple has been around for decades. I’m pretty confident that it is owned by the city of Atlanta. The greens are thick and slow but offer a good experience. I highly recommend checking this out. After 5pm the cost is $20-30 to walk 18. ⭐️⭐️⭐️🇺🇸🐺

Prettiest City of Atlanta course I play. Great layout. Some maintenance issues with low spots and standing water, and also some greens and tee boxes don’t get enough sun to grow grass. Pace of play is slow when the weather is nice, but that’s because a lot of beginners play here. They used to have some rude staff here, but I haven’t seen them in a while. The crew that cleans the carts stays later than the other CofA courses, which people appreciate (tips). Playing here at sunset is my favorite way to end the day.

Before we came we read the reviews. Some don’t sound amazing and sadly it’s not the truth. We are beginners, and what we wanted was a course where we could take our time, play alone and enjoy our Sunday and enjoy trying to get better. This was EXACTLY what we got. We had a 1:30pm tee time which could be pretty busy for a Sunday. The man who was controlling the tee offs was amazing. We told him we were beginners and wanted to be alone and he truly listened to us and allowed us to be alone. We played a full 18 hole course without being held up or holding up anyone. He explained to us how the course is under construction which you may read in a different review. Some greens were being resurfaced so some greens and holes were temporary, but this was not an issue at all. The price is AMAZING. Good look finding another course in Atlanta that costs $85 for 2 people, on a Sunday, with a cart! If you are looking for top of the range golf course then this will be the place in a year or so. But right now if you are a beginner, or nervous about being with others, this place is the place for you. They are so supportive of your needs and this made the experience so much better for us! We know this place will be back to perfect soon and can’t wait to visit again!

This is the first time and last time plalaying this course. The course design is great and challenging. However, the greens are beyond horrible and you can't putt on them. The pace of play was not that bad, and the staff was great and helpful especially the cashier and Mrs. KIM. HOWEVER THE SO-CALLED HEAD GOLF PRO IS ANNOYING AND CONDESCENDING. Avoid this course at all cost not worth the time and money
