Candler Park is a beloved 9 hole Atlanta muni carved into a hilly neighborhood park. Opened in 1927 and attributed to landscape architect Helen Smith, it's short on yardage but big on charm. The par 31 loop is perfect for beginners, juniors, and quick after work golf. Facilities are simple with a putting green; there's no full driving range. Expect walk on friendliness, quirky elevation shifts, and a fun, casual pace. It's a true community course with nearly a century of history.

Played today. Course is not playable. Greens are as slick as ice and all putts will roll 3ft off of the green. They should pay you $9.00 to play, not the other way around. Get it together Mayor Dickens. Unacceptable.

Fun public course, 9 holes which can be done in 1.5 hrs at a leisurely pace. Greens are not in great condition but the fairways are kept well

Candler Park Golf Course is such a hidden gem! The fairways are gorgeous, the staff is super friendly, and we love holes 1, 7, 8, and 9. The greens could use a little TLC, but they are working on it. It’s a beautiful course for the price. As four girls who golf, we love that it was built by Helen Smith for Lucy Candler!

What happened to this course? It’s in terrible condition. They closed for months to redo the greens and tee boxes and they look worse than ever. This is cheap but a disaster of a golf course.

this is the worst golf course I have ever played at in my life. there is no difference between fairway and rough, the course is in horrible shape and sucks. The staff guy is actually terrible. Won’t even let me rent lefty clubs after I called in advance to make sure I could. Had to play these 9 crappy holes as a righty. Never playing here ever again.
