One of the best golf courses in the area just north of Atlanta. If you get the chance to play out here and haven’t yet then you are missing out! This course will absolutely test every single part of your game at some point in the round. But it still rewards good shots fairly with birdie opportunities on multiple holes. If you aren’t careful you can lose a ton of golf balls out here because this golf course is brutally tough from any tee box you play from, if you are playing blues or tips there is a-lot of challenging tee shots and tough par 3s. Course is always in great shape and the tee boxes are nice and leveled and have lots of good turf to hit from. Greens are solid here too, bent greens so they will be a touch slower in the summer heat but spring and fall time they run fast and pure. But they always roll true to line and seem consistent speed hole to hole. I absolutely love this course and will keep coming back, staff is always friendly and helpful too, big shoutout to all of them! You are missing out if you haven’t played here yet!

Even with it being January, the course was still in great shape. Even cut tee boxes, healthy fairways, and fantastic greens. Was especially impressed with the greens. Amazing condition, regardless of the time of year. Love that a round includes range balls too. If you're going to spend $80+ on a round, this is what you expect. I'll be back.

Pros: The course has some absolutely beautiful holes and no complains on the fairways, tee boxes of greens Cons: The bunkers are unacceptably bad conditions (and there are a lot of them) and we had a 5 hour round- waiting at every tee shot. For a 125$ tee time you expect bunkers that are playable and the ranger to speed up pace. Overall I’d recommend if you are getting out on a deal but not at full price until the bunkers are fixed.

an absolute monster one of the best and toughest courses I've ever played, a lot of brutally tough tee shots, some very hard approach shots, greens were very good and seem pretty fast (went on rainy day so obviously they played slower than usual). a lot of variety, doglegs, drastic elevation changes, hazards all over the place, very well placed bunkers, good ondulation on greens. 6 stars best public course by far in Atlanta area. 6 stars!

Echelon Golf Club was awesome. The course itself is great, but honestly the scenery might be what I remember most. Every hole feels tucked into its own little stretch of landscape, and the whole place just looks expensive in the best possible way. Super peaceful, ridiculously well maintained, and the greens were beautiful. The elevation changes and winding cart paths made it feel completely different from the usual flat, repetitive courses you play all the time. At one point I realized I was enjoying the cart ride almost as much as the actual golf. Which sounds ridiculous until you play there. Some of those rides through the trees and hills feel like you accidentally drove onto a luxury hiking trail with cup holders. Greens rolled fantastic, layout was fun and challenging, and the overall atmosphere just felt top tier without being pretentious about it. Definitely one of those courses you remember afterward instead of immediately blending into the pile of “nice course” rounds. Would absolutely go back.
