I had high hopes for The Bloomingdale Golfers Club, but my experience there was a total letdown. As someone who golfs a couple times a month, I’ve seen my share of courses, and this one stands out for all the wrong reasons. The biggest problem? A massive snarl of fallen trees and overgrown weeds smack dab along hole 7. It’s not just an eyesore—it’s downright dangerous. I sliced my shot a bit off the fairway, and when I went to find my ball, I nearly twisted an ankle, tripping over hidden roots and jagged limbs. Nothing is marking it as a hazard, and there are no ropes or signs to warn you off. It's just a chaotic mess, and the club’s apparently too lazy to deal with it. It’s ridiculous how much it drags down the whole round—you’re constantly worrying about landing in that disaster zone instead of enjoying your game. And honestly, it makes the place look abandoned, which is the last thing you want when you’re paying good money to play. I mentioned it to a staff member after, hoping they’d at least pretend to care, but all I got was a blank stare and some excuse about “maintenance schedules.” If this is their idea of upkeep, they’re in over their heads. Save your time and your clubs—skip this course until they get their act together and clear out that death trap.

Very nice golf course and layout. The greens were fast and very smooth. Lou in the club ho use was very helpful and super nice. We finished in 4 hours, and the cart girls showed up several times during our round...We will be back to play here again!!!!

The course is in mediocre shape right now. The practice green was completely unusable, which was a letdown before the round. Fairways were very wet in spots, and the greens are still a few weeks into healing from aeration, so they’re not rolling true yet. On the food side, the hot dog at the turn was okay — nothing memorable — but the crispy chicken quesadilla was a pleasant surprise and the highlight of the day, even if it wasn’t spectacular. Staff was fine, and the layout itself has potential, but the course maintenance and conditions need improvement before it can really be enjoyable.

The course conditions were a absolute mess, especially considering that you can find a better course for cheaper nearby any day of the week, definitely not worth the money

Came here for a relaxing vacation round of golf. Everything was backed up but we were having fun. We had a group of six playing faster than a group of four yet the Marshall told us we couldn’t do that. They were a holes to put it lightly. Bathrooms out of order. Food needs to be ordered in order to eat. Overall they turned a decent fun day into a stressful fueled day. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
