Tequesta Country Club is a private, member-owned golf club established in 1957, situated on a peninsula surrounded on three sides by the north and northwest forks of the historic Loxahatchee River in the Village of Tequesta. The 18-hole championship course, originally designed by Dick Wilson (with Robert von Hagge and later updates by Tommy Fazio in 2013), features elevated greens, significantly contoured fairways, dogleg holes, rare banyan trees, excellent drainage on white sugar sand for year-round playability, and a challenging yet interesting design suitable for all skill levels (6,925 yards, par 71, slope 132, rating 73.6). It offers a unique, scenic experience with natural beauty and thoughtful hole designs. The club upholds a strong family focus, highly regarded golf operations, and a traditional atmosphere with amenities like dining and social events. Members appreciate the historic prestige, riverfront setting, and exceptional golf experience in a serene, upscale coastal enclave.

We had an amazing time working with the staff at Tequesta Country Club, they wanted a Tropical themed celebration. Vibrant colored table linens and napkins were provided along with tropical floral arrangements.

We expected an immaculate golf course by reading their website and some reviews. It was very underwhelming. Highly disappointed. No signs for the holes. Golf carts really need to be updated. The fees charged are way too high for this course. The food shack burrito was filled with cheese and pieces of egg. We will not return.

Great community... built in the early 70s well maintained and solid structure. Several amenities and conveniently located near the highway and all necessary shops. Just minutes to the beach. Easily walk to the intercoastal. Very quiet community... boarders a state park with lots of wildlife.
