I had a wonderful experience at Deer Island Country Club with my wife.. The natural scenery was absolutely beautiful, and the course was in excellent condition. The greens were especially impressive, and the overall maintenance and course management were top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made our round even more enjoyable.

Compared to some of the other courses I have played in the area,the course is very well maintained. The tee boxes are covered with grass, and the greens don't have missing patches of grass or mold. It was nice to play a course in such good condition. Personally, I thought the greens were a bit slow, but that is a personal preference and not a knock against the course. It's a great layout with water coming into play on many of the holes. If you can't hit the ball fairly straight, bring a lot of extras. I don't hit it straight and have lost as many as 20 balls in a round. Still love playing this course though. I highly recommend getting out for a round or two.

Great course layout and friendly staff. Matt at the pro shop was great and very helpful. Course was in great shape with some great views. If you're an average golfer I'd bring a good amount of balls. Water is almost on every hole but again fun lay out and greens are pure.

Worth the drive for this course! It is our new favorite Central Florida course. Every hole tee boxes were extremely well kept, locations were challenging from every box a lot of wildlife and beautiful views, fairways were flawless and greens could not have been any more true. Front 9 was a nice challenge with the back 9 being a little more open but still tough with alot of water and good bunker placements. The staff in the pro-shop were all very welcoming and pleasant. A must play local course! 10 out of 10 would give more stars. This course deserves every star and then some. Really feels more like a private course. Pace of play was fast and didn’t run into anyone almost the entire round.

We LOVED this course! It is in great shape, lots of water (almost every hole), good pace of play and friendly staff. There were lots of gators around to add to the experience. The greens run true and smooth. There is a temporary green on 13 due to hurricane damage so can’t wait to play again as looks challenging. Well worth heading there for a great round.
