This golf course is quite long and is connected to a challenging layout. Due to water supply issues, the course is currently very dry. However, it is a great place for beginner golfers. The price is affordable, the carts are clean, and the staff are extremely kind and friendly, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. One downside is that the greens are not in good condition, so it’s difficult to practice putting. I hope the water supply issue gets resolved soon and that this course becomes a well-loved golf destination for many people.

Worse course I'm Pinellas county. Awful condition and the ownership should be completed embarrassed. Look closely and you'll notice these are mostly the greens you can see the flag pole laying on the ground the holes cannot support them to stay in place. Disaster February 2026

So I wanted to share my experience at Wentworth Golf Course. I have played this course many times over the past 20 years, and must say that it is challenging and in the past been in very good condition. However, I realize that the course in the past few months-years maybe has declined in condition and playability. I have been receiving emails lately about the changes and upgrades, etc. So with very low expectations, I thought I would give it go today. I KNEW IT WAS NOT GOING TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, BUT……. I was not prepared mentally for what I witnessed…. It was literally a lunar landscape, to the point of unplayability. I was warned for the Pro shop attendant, but oh my…. I realize the owner is trying, and will give them an A+ for effort, but realistically this course in my humble opinion is not playable. I took photos of every hole and over the course of playing golf for over 50 years and countless courses, I have never witnessed anything like what I experienced, it is hard to process…It would seem to be since there is no irrigation, no water to use, and unless the owner has UNLIMITED financial resources, this course is doomed. It saddens me greatly to see any golf course to be deteriorated and unkept, but this is the extreme. The restaurant/ bar is worth the stay, but as far as golf goes, NO. On top of that, this is a community of million dollar plus homes that are of dreams. It is a absolute shame….. Also the owner need to stop immediately the misleading and untruthful email advertising that is being send out weekly. The last photo is what is being advertised, but the other photos tell the truth… How in the world you can perpetuate your blatant falsehoods is beyond me. STOP!

This is literally an unplayable golf course. The drought has destroyed 90% of the fairways & there is not a single green that is puttable. It is so bad its almost comical. if you’re just looking to smack golf balls like a driving range & not put, then its fine. It’s cheap, $20 for 18 holes, cart rentals of $20 additionally.

Refurbished, like new condition. $100obo. Text only. In all seriousness. This course has gone to trash. Not worth the $40 we played. Instead of spending money on new golf carts, you should fix this course. No fairways, all brown. All sandtraps were closed and looked horrible. Greens were...brown. One had no hole and just a dirt circle. Flag was on the ground. It was comical.
