Freedom Fairways is a fantastic little gem, especially for newer golfers, juniors, or anyone who doesn’t hit it a mile off the tee. The course is short and approachable, making it a perfect place to learn the game, build confidence, or just enjoy a relaxed round without the pressure of long carries or intimidating hazards. I especially appreciate that you can comfortably finish a round in under 3 hours, which is a huge plus. The tee boxes and fairways were in good condition during my visit, and while the greens were sandy and bumpy (under summer maintenance), it’s clear they’re working on improving them. Even with the greens being worked on, the course was still fun and playable. It’s a welcoming, no-frills place that fills an important niche in golf, showing that the game can be fun, fast, and accessible to everyone. Perfect spot to bring a young golfer, a beginner, or just enjoy a quick, casual round yourself.

Freedom Fairways is always in great condition and is a perfect course for approach, short game work and younger players. It is only 2,022 yards from the forward tees, which is great for junior golfers to learn. Moving to the back tee puts you at 3,210 yards. The fairways are tight and greens the course is covered with trees and water, it is a challenging test for its length. Pace of play is excellent, it is a quiet course and I have never had to wait on a group in front of me. Highly recommended for a relaxing round of golf.

The course has always been my go to course when there's no one to play with from my Sunday group. It's hit or miss with the clubhouse lady, somedays she's mean like an old rattlesnake. As for the course, the greens are always slow, which I understand, today all of them had some amount of sand on them. Some of the ter boxes have seen better days. For the most part all of the fairways are in decent shape. The carts are not in too bad a shape. Overall you're not playing there if you're looking to play a great course, it is an executive course and plays like one. I quite enjoy playing there instead of going to a range and I have always played under 3hours, my fastest time was 2hours. Today I started at 9:30 and was done by 12 and I had a foursome with 2 groups of 2 in front of me. I hit 2 balls most of the round so I could get my practice in for next weekend.

Wasn't busy. Course very challenging, tight fairways. Some trees need trimming or removing to enhance the experience
