Monterey Yacht and Country Club is a private 55+ condominium community in Stuart, centered on a charming 9-hole executive golf course designed by P.B. Dye, meandering through the property with buildings, a clubhouse, pool, and ornamental fountain ponds. The par-32 layout (playable as 18 by repeating with different tees, around 2,000–3,768 yards total) features scenic fairways, strategic short holes requiring every club, and a focus on short-game precision in a relaxed, island-like Florida setting. It maintains good condition with practice facilities and emphasizes invigorating, affordable adult living without the intensity of full championship courses. The club integrates golf with fitness (bocce, billiards, shuffleboard), swimming, social clubs, events, and parties for a welcoming community vibe. Residents enjoy the low-key exclusivity, convenient location, and blend of leisure golf with coastal amenities in beautiful Stuart.

A great place to live for 55+ in Martin County. Unlimited free golf and very active with many events and activities. Recently under new management who is doing a great job maintaining the grounds. Well built solid concrete block construction. Also one of the best values for a vacation home. 5min drive to downtown restaurants and riverwalk, 15min drive to the best beaches on Hutchinson Island. Gorgeous sunsets can be seen right on the river. This place is Stuart's best kept secret.

Love it here.. people, property, price are amazing. Stuart has such character and charm. We'll be back year after year. We no longer dread winter! PS. We move here and are now year round. I've started playing golf and this course is nicely maintained and the fees are already in our HOA dues!
