Great hospitality!! The course is lush and in great condition. The fairways, tee boxes, and approach’s are still green. The greens are rolling at about a 9-10 on the stemp meter. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful course that was both challenging and fun to play. The greens were so fast! Best destination course I’ve played. The staff were friendly and helpful - from the starting crew to the pro shop to the restaurant. Appreciated that range balls were included and our carts were stocked with ice and water. Will 100% play here again!

King and Bear is by far the best and most beautiful golf course in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD (golf village). World class amenities and service you’ve got to experience and see to believe!

The course was pleasant, and the staff was friendly. However, the most disappointing aspect was the no-show caddy service for our teetimes. We never received any confirmation regarding the cancellation, which was disappointing because our entire trip was based on having a caddy at this golf course. The staff apologized but explained that they use a third-party service for caddies and rarely receive complete confirmation. While the caddy will be there, this incident reflects poorly on King and Bear Golf Course, especially since you contract or work with the third-party service.

My husband and I (4 and 10 handicap) played this course in late April 2026. We paid decent money to play it and it would have received a four star review if only the course conditions mattered. However, ratings should be based on more that just that. From our perspective, the pace of play was horrible for the first 9 holes and the ranger was downright rude. When a ranger finally approached us on the 7th hole, he asked us how things were going. We shared our concerns about the pace of play of the twosome (one rider and one walker) in front of us. After taking a few minutes to review his tee sheet, he stated, "They are 10 minutes ahead of pace." In response, I asked, "Isn't about keeping up with the group in front of you, not the group behind you?" Obviously, the ranger didn't pay attention to the fact that they were at least a hole behind the twosome in front of them nor did he understand that two people shouldn't take 4 hours and 10 minutes to play a round of golf. What put me over the edge was when he sarcastically asked, "Well, how are you playing?" My husband's response was, "That's completely irrelevant." Lesson learned.
