Really enjoyable experience at Misty Creek Golf Club today. The course conditions were perfect and very few players on the course, so we never felt held up or had anyone behind us. Very friendly staff members there and we were told there had been a lot of investment in the past 12 months. The greens and fairways were in very condition and the bunkers looked good, however I was lucky not to go in one. Plenty of water on some holes, with a number of shaped holes which I didn’t mind, as it made for playing more strategically. I enjoy that type of game, over just hitting driver everywhere. There was no GPS on the carts, or cart service, which again we found quite enjoyable in a way, as we had to use laser guides and didn’t have to stop to get snacks or drinks. Plenty of available water and ice throughout the course. The 5 stars might to be something to do with the scores we had today, but there was something about the course and the way we seemed to have a lot of the course to ourselves, which was unusual and very enjoyable

Such an incredible course laid out in the old Florida country. All the homes are in the front and when you get to the course you can grip and rip it! The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and the course was in impeccable condition.

Lucky to finish 18 holes twilight. The pace of play on the front 9, unfortunately was incredibly slow, due to the fact the group ahead did not know golf etiquette and were beginners. An amazing layout and natural scenery, however sadly the greens were in poor condition as compared to the rest of the golf course. Staff friendly and helpful.

Coming on the recommendation from a pro at another course, we played Misty Creek for the first time. Exceptionally friendly staff, everyone was welcoming and informative. The creatures will steal any food left in your cart. The putting and chipping areas are very nice and represent the speed and the slope of the greens. We did not use the range. I understand that they have put millions into upgrading the course but I can’t compare it to the past condition. Some of the greens had a blight, a few not many. The first time you play Misty Creek you should have an app to show you the layout of most of the holes. We were surprised many times to find water where it was not visible from the tee (18 in particular). What I found most annoying was the number of dog leg holes. On the back every hole except the par 3’s were dog legs as well as a few on the front. Hole #1 (par 5) is nice wide starting hole. #8 (par 5) is SPECTACULAR. There is nice golf here but I think it is over hyped.

Loved our day and experience here. Pro shop attendant was professional and kind. Starter was great to get us right on the course. Let us play as a twosome , ended up joining another couple as the round went on. With the mature tree lined fairways and nature forests, it felt like playing in a little jungle. We seen so much wild life while playing. Course was in great shape! Would love to return!
