Played Sanibel Island Golf Course in Early April 2025. Made the trek down from Ontario, Canada. What a Great Experience! Drew let me know what to expect on Course Conditions, as they were still going through the continued Renovations. Very much appreciated, as that’s a hospitality you don’t find at many other places. Course was in great shape, not 100% obviously, but you could see the work that’s been put in. It’s very evident on the pride that’s taken with this course. Played 2/9/2025, which was a Monday. I teed off at 7:40am and played the entire front nine solo with no one else on the course, which was really nice. The back nine had some groups who teed off from 10 but the pace was great and I finished 18 in 2:20. You’ll see many comments on the condition of the course, and they’re correct that it’s still recovering from the hurricane, but the fairways are still very playable and the greens were *PERFECT*. And I mean it, they were immaculate. The course layout was very fun. Don’t let the reviews discourage you from playing. I was going to deduct a star because the starter wouldn’t let me ride the alligators but he’s probably right, I don’t even know how to put a saddle on one.

Amazing course, great views, and world class service. Drew reached out to me the night before to inform me of the course condition. He met me with a handshake and knew my name and greeted me personally when I arrived. The course is still recovering and honestly I would find someone who knows the course well to play with. I played Tobacco rd recently so the storm damage didn't phase me as I just treated it as challenging wasteland area. Tee boxes are healthy and thriving. Greens in excellent condition and were firm and fast. Lots of scenic beauty to take in. This won't be the fanciest course you ever play but you'd be hard pressed to find nicer people.

The greens are im great shape, real healthy. I think they are TifEagle grass, which are slower, but true. Fairways are in really good condition. Tee boxes are still recovering from the storm. Great time out here, really fun course. Lot of opportunities to be aggressive, but playing safe doesn't hurt you at all. Great club house with beautiful bar, big screen TVs, great beers on tap and awesome pizza. Lobster bisque was amazing. I'll definitely be back!!!!

Drew was super helpful and greeted us at the truck and loaded all of our stuff into the cart. Greens were fun. Fairways were nice and lots of good opportunities for some fun shots. Restaurant was nice and staff was too. All around great experience.
