Really enjoyed my round at Riverside Golf Club. The greens were the standout and in mostly great shape, rolling well and keeping the course moving in the right direction. Some fairways and tee boxes showed wear, likely from the recent dry and colder weather, but it did not take away from the overall experience. The setting along the Little Manatee River and the clubhouse location give the course a relaxed old Florida feel. After the round I had a mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries and a draft Stella at the bar and grille for about $20 and it definitely hit the spot. Just know there is no turn snack area or cart service, so bring something with you for the round. Overall a solid experience with strong greens and a great riverside atmosphere.

First time playing the course and it was super windy out today. Shorter course than I usually play, but, having local course knowledge is a definite must. Lost several shots that looked amazing off the tee but ended up in unknown hazards. Also, got to see a large alligator chilling on the bank. Greens must have been sanded this past week, lots of pebbles out there. Rolled medium to fast. Tee boxes were a little suspect though. Will try to play again some time next year.

A nice semi private course. It winds its way around the development. Most holes are interesting. Small greens and it’s very tight especially the back 9. The grill is great. Very nice experience overall!

I would recommend skipping this place. It has nice amenities but the management doesn't seem to prioritize it's tenants for any requests or complaints. We left our rented place on 4/24/26 and left or home in better shape than what we received it in. We still haven't received our deposit back, nor has anyone with authority responded to requests for the return of it. I have been lied to twice, and then they blamed a "glitch" in their system. They have had my deposit for over 30 days now in spite of the fact that Florida statutes allow 15 days. We have tried calling the Gm several times and he won't return our calls, like he didn't return our texts when we had issues. Their turnover with the staff is your first clue that it's not a well run operation. I could go on and on, but in general this location is in the sticks, and the traffic around it is horrible. Having a marina and pools was nice although they kept the marina closed for over a year after the hurricanes hit, and blamed everything and everybody else for the reasons. Overall poor experience. The golf course is below average. They don't water it enough. Food in the restaurant is average to below average. Service in there is atrocious, and it is over priced. there are pockets of nice people but largely it has many cliques, and the pool is full of complainers if you have music, or kids visiting. Management doesn't care about its residents unless you are a prospective resident, then they care but as soon as you sign say goodbye to professionalism and being able to talk to someone unless you surprise them with a stop into the office and just walk to their office. If you ask for them, they are always in meetings or with "customers". I'd avoid the aggravation. there are better places in the area.

BRING PLENTY OF WATER! Nice course with friendly staff! However, the course does not turn at the clubhouse, which we were informed of before starting the round, but there were no water coolers on any of the holes, which was a surprise. There is also no drink cart on the course. So our round was almost 5 hours long in 90 degree heat, with no access to water or drinks.
