Very poor customer service. When I came to the clubhouse, I was greeted with a begrudging greeting. Paid my green fees, but was not told what to do next as a first time guest. Then I found my way to my golf carts. I was told even though I was only 30 minutes away from my tee time there was not a cart available for me. which kind of sucked. Because the driving range was a decent hike with a cart bag. Even though there were eight sitting there ready to go. Some of the most first impression customer service I’ve ever experienced at a “nice golf course”

I’ve been golfing here on family trips for about 5 years. I’ll keep going back because the location is super convenient and the staff have always been kind and considerate. But over those 5 years, conditions at the course have steadily worsened everywhere except the greens. These are truly the worst fairways and rough I’ve played in years. In many areas the rough has died entirely. Bunkers overflow their edges. You pretty much have to play improved lie or you’re gonna play off sand most of the day. I’ve seen many excuses from management over the years but no improvement, and the immaculate condition of the greens suggests that someone knows how to manage grass! So I suspect the issue is one of water cost and maybe staffing. But you can only avoid a death spiral for so long at $80 greens fees in this area. Ultimately the owner group will either invest a bunch in improving conditions or oversee the slow deterioration of the club.

Played Lost Key a couple of days ago, big mistake ! Course is in HORRIBLE condition, fairways are dirt and sand with some grass & the greens are fuzzy dirt. To add insult to injury, greens fees were over one hundred dollars. More injury, they charged me a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Needless to say, I won't patronize Lost Key again.

Greens were in great shape! Lost Key is a very difficult course but worth playing.

I attended the Gulf Coast Women's Classic this year and was blown away by the beauty of the Lost Key Golf Club. The facilities were beautiful, the carts were well taken care of, and the course was well maintained. I immediately went home and shared with my husband that he needs to check out the course for a round of golf with his friends!
