Room: nice, comfortable. Great balcony. Nice bathroom and shower. Pillows are terrible. Cheap foam. Linens, not bad. Bed, pretty good bit a bit saggy. Service: There is no warm welcoming feeling from this place, from manager to bar staff. Everyone acts like I’m bothering them, and I saw this attitude from the front desk manager to staff and guests. The manager snapped at staff and guests twice in a few minutes’ period. He acts stressed, rigid and far from making guests feel welcome. A bit too important to actually welcome guests. The bar staff is bothered by asking for a drink or placing another food order. They get an automatic 20 percent on every check, so why put in the effort? We finally walked away after not getting any service whatsoever. They need to replace the 2 bartenders with some people who act like they care just a little bit. I wouldn’t stay her again based on the service. They really don’t care if you’re here spending money or not. The buff valet dude was the nicest person we met so far. And one maid service woman, she was very friendly. Location: a bit far from everything but really pretty good for anything located on PGA Blvd. No need to drive far from the resort to get some good food and ambience. The food here is expensive for small portions, which is why their restaurants are dead empty. But the flavor is good overall on the 7 items I’ve had in 2 days. They need to work on making their guests feel welcome. This is their biggest issue. Hospitality- they haven’t been trained on the most important aspect of the business. Management: needs a LOT of work.

Extremely disappointing experience with PGA National Resort. We booked through Hotwire while intending to stay in Fort Lauderdale. As is typical with Hotwire, the hotel name is not revealed until after purchase. The moment we saw the hotel was not actually in Fort Lauderdale, we immediately called Hotwire — at 11:30 PM — literally within minutes of booking. Hotwire contacted the property, and PGA National Resort refused to authorize a refund. We then called the resort directly, hoping for basic courtesy and understanding. Instead, the staff was rude and dismissive. Their reasoning? That they “could have sold the room to someone else.” This was minutes after booking, late at night. The idea that they suffered any meaningful loss in that time frame is unrealistic. A luxury-branded resort should operate with a higher standard of customer care. Even if their policy is technically non-refundable, good businesses exercise reasonable discretion — especially when contacted immediately. Instead of showing any flexibility, they chose policy over people. This experience reflects poorly on management and customer service standards. I would strongly caution anyone considering booking here — especially through third-party sites. Very disappointed.

All-around disappointment. Service was poor. We didn’t golf at PGA, I’m sure that would’ve been a lovely part of the resort though. The room was very nice and spacious. We made a sushi reservations weeks prior with the concierge - and when it came time to our reservation, it was cancelled without our knowledge. Since it was omakase we couldn’t be sat, then went to the lobby bar and dealt with the attitude and poor service of the bartender there. No room service at 9pm. No one answered the phone about spa booking (tried 3x). The morning of our checkout, keys stopped working around 8:30am and after going down and up 2x - they STILL did not work (had to get a house keeper to open our door?). And finally, was charged TWICE (paid full upon booking, then charged fully again upon departure). The team has ignored my emails and it’s been over 2 weeks. Never again

My experience at PGA National from the Bar Staff, Pro Shop team, Restaurant Staff was phenomenal. They were super welcoming and helpful to anything we needed. The rooms were super comfortable and clean and the amenities provided had more than enough to keep me busy during my girl's trip there. Special shout out to Bibiana at Honeybelle who was so sweet and had the best food suggestions at Breakfast & Michelle at The Spa who had a vast knowledge of various modalities for my golfer's recovery massage and probably one of my best massages I've gotten. Thank you to the team!

For my friend’s birthday, we decided to relax with a massage at the PGA Resort Spa, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional. Our locker room attendant, Marie, truly stood out—her positive energy, warm welcome, and kindness set the tone for a perfectly relaxing day. Our massage therapists were also amazing, and the overall atmosphere and energy of the spa were excellent. We are locals and will absolutely be returning. Highly recommend!
