Don’t have membership with Halifax but I do love this course and play here once or twice a month. we occasionally get a good deal on the golf now app! Pictures attached are from previous visits in the past.

5 and a half hour round as a single on a Tuesday. No GPS, no ranger, and no one cares. Course caters to older players who do not know the etiquette about keeping up with the group in front and letting faster players play through (especially when they take 3 plus hours for 9 holes). Course could be something special given its maturity, but lack of accurate tee and yardage marking and the lack of GPS to speed play, there are just too many better options in the area. BTW. NO on course bev service as well.

Lots of open tee times and some reviews put me on the skeptical side but it turned out to be a great experience. Beautiful drive in, nice employees, walked in as a single on a Tues morning no problem. They gave this Chicagoan a quick rundown of the course and amenities. Quick warmup on the range and putting green, grab some ice and drinks and I was off. Greens were beautiful, fairways were good, tees (Coquina-whites) need a lil work and who cares about the cart path…Good layout, little to no water comes in to play, a fair amount of bunkers, houses are set back a bit and protected by trees. Even with a few extra practice shots finished 18 in just over 3hrs. Nice restaurant, had a delicious burger. Would come here often if I was local. Hopefully will be back soon to challenge it from the back tees!

Very peaceful course with plenty of wildlife to look at. The overall condition of the course could use a little work and isn't worth the $65 every week, but I'll return on occasion.

What a shame… this place has really let itself go. The tee boxes were mostly overgrown, the fairways were spotty at best, and the rough was more sand and dirt than grass. The bunkers looked like they haven’t been maintained in a long time. The greens and the areas around them were easily the best part of the course. They were on the faster side, rolled fairly true, and had a lot of undulation. The problem is that by the time you get there, you already feel defeated because of the condition of the rest of the course. I honestly felt ripped off paying the $70+ weekend rate. I’ve played municipal courses in much better condition than this. It will likely be many years before I consider coming back, and even then, I’d still be hesitant.
