I have been to the Stone Creek Golf Club Grill, a few times now. Our experience was basically the same each time we visited. Being located in the Stone Creek community, It's an absolutely beautiful setting. Although the golf club and grill are located just outside the guard house and gate. So folks can visited without having to gain access past the gate first. There seems to be adequate parking and more, when we have visited. Of course it could be more crowded on prime golf times. Although I do not know for sure. The golf club building and facilities are very nice. The golf pro shop is also located in this building with the grill and other rooms. The grill is located directly ahead as you enter the buildings main entrance. The grill is a fairly large room or two that has a very open feeling. There are windows all along the one side of the room that overlook the grill's patio section and the golf course itself. As I mentioned, there is a mostly covered, outdoor patio for folks preferring to dine outside. And of course there is the indoor section with the air conditioning for folks who prefer the more climate controlled environment. There is also a nice fireplace and a fair sized bar section. We have always visited more towards the lunch hour. So we have never had to wait to be seated at a table. It may be different at more crowded times like dinner or such. The menu is not large, but I find it to be adequate in size and choice. I have tried something different with each visit. And each time we have found our food to be very good. Actually, I should say that it was excellent. Our server has been excellent. By chance, we have had the same server each time we have visited over a few years. She has been there since they opened and is a pleasure to be served by. Unfortunately, I am terrible with names and forget them too often until I spend a good amount of time with folks. So my apologies to her. But she is wonderful. The prices are not the least expensive you ever see. But I find the prices to be mostly fair considering the environment, quality of the food and meal itself, and portions. I had a Yuengling draft with my lunch, which was reasonably priced as well. So depending on what you order, it can be quite reasonable. Yes you can spend more if you opt for the more expensive choices. But I don't see many restaurants the give you this nice of a dining experience, at possibly this reasonable of a price. Of course this is just my opinion. But I think that the Stone Creek Golf Club Grill, walks a fine line between a quiet comfortable country club meal, and reasonable priced meal. Again, depending on the your order. As such, I recommend them. We have been there multiple times now over a few years, and have enjoyed it every time. I can't ask for more than that.

Beautiful facility. While we did not eat here, we visited to see if this would be a good location for a wedding. While many weddings are performed here, we are looking for a special place on property for my wife's mom. What a sweet story to tell, my Mother-in-law was looking at houses in Stone Creek in October of 2018. We met the realtor at this facility and her mom met someone who just got married at this location. The bride had nothing but good remarks. The house never panned out. 2 months later in December my mother-in-law met up with an old friend and found out that he was widowed too. They started talking and 6 months later, they bought a house in Stone Creek with plans to wed at the Reunion facility in a few weeks. Just goes to show you, you never know what is right around the corner. Thank you Stone Creek for having such a beautiful place. More pictures will come later, these were taken at dusk. Since visiting and taking these pictures, my Mother-in-law and her fiance have eaten here and say the food is great. They are hiring them to cater their wedding. I had a very disappointing experience with Harold at Stone Creek. I arrived close to 5:00 PM and walked into the pro shop where Harold and an older gentleman were sitting on the couch watching the US OPEN on TV. I was then told I could not go to the range. There was no lightning, no rain, and the lightning warning light outside was not activated. Mind you it hasn’t been raining for atleast a hour at that point. There were already people out on the range, and the older gentleman sitting next to Harold stated that he had just been out there himself. When I asked why the people already on the range were allowed to be out there, Harold’s response was, “They’re members, we don’t tell them what to do. They don’t pay for the range.” That explanation made little sense to me, considering members pay dues that help fund and provide access to those facilities, I do as well and should be afforded the same liberties as long as I pay. It felt like the decision had nothing to do with safety and more to do with the fact that the register had already been shut down and he did not want to deal with another customer. Unfortunately, I had driven about 15 minutes specifically to use the practice facilities. What made the experience even more frustrating is that I come to this range multiple times every week. At $10 per visit and roughly three visits per week, I spend around $120 per month at this facility. I have been a regular customer and felt completely disrespected by the way I was treated. When I asked for Harold’s name, he repeatedly avoided giving it to me and instead kept offering excuses. At that point, I was no longer interested in debating the issue and simply wanted his name. After I left the pro shop and walked toward the chipping green, Harold came outside and continued the interaction in what I felt was an unnecessarily aggressive manner. I even asked him directly, “Why are you being so aggressive?” Whether I was allowed on the range or not, there was a much more professional way to communicate with a customer. The issue was not just the decision itself. It was the attitude, the inconsistency in the explanation, and the way the situation was handled. As someone who visits this facility several times a week and spends money there regularly, I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome.

Great staff in pro shop and bar/restaurant. Prices are reasonable. Played the course at the end of March. Wide generous fairways. Bunkers and fairways in great shape. Greens were good with only a few spots that showed the affects of the cold weather. If your in Ocala make sure you put this course on your play list.

We made a reservation for brunch on a Sunday because we had a large group and couldn’t get seating anywhere else. We all had the brunch and were happy with it. Everything was kept hot and filled. The custom omelettes were excellent but there may be a line because of each omelettes customization. Will definitely go again if we make our way to Ocala.
