Recently had a tournament at this Golf Course! Had a blast! Friendly staff! Very attentive! The staff made sure we all had what we needed and then some. The greens were nice and smooth. All in all very nice golf course and courses. Food was phenomenal complements to the chief! Would recommend this place to any one who is looking to go out and play a good game of golf! Even in the bad weather this place is great!

Absolutely beautiful course, probably one of the nicest if not the nicest south of Venice. Challenging course and fast greens. Highly recommended if you’re a decent golfer. High handicaps would have a tough time around this course. Update: Such a hidden gem. Always in great condition and such a fun course to play.

Course was in good shape. Fast greens. When I got my tee time, lady was very friendly. Other than that, staff was not welcoming. Lecture from the starter beforehand. I was actually waiting for the pre-round video necessary to play. Repeatedly checked on pace, shirts tucked in, and where you drive the golf carts. Definitely not worth the $160. Would not play again

I played here once before and at that time, the course conditions were horrible. This time when I played, they were much better. But I don't like how they rush people and push people to go faster than what's needed. The wildlife was great out there. I had enjoyed that very much

This club touts itself as a premier semi private and a challenging or at least not easy course, but both golfnow public players and members alike are very disappointed with the perpetual condition of the greens especially. Fairway not cut to standard height so you get flier lies is one thing, but shag rug speed greens (who cares how 'lush' and green it looks, this is a performance oriented sport where conditions matter immensely, not a botanical garden) in an entirely more glaring issue. It's a shame that a stud like Leo Gellert has to deal with conditions like this. And what, you can't spend $500-2000 to build or buy a range tent/solar tarp on the totally exposed driving range so people can actually practice. You want $30 for a daily pass for the practice facilities, but no one is going to stay out there after 10am for longer than a bucket or two. Maybe that's the whole point - so you can save more money not having to pick up balls. Reminds me of being in Mexico where the range attendants were evil eyeing me for hitting multiple buckets of balls they would have to go pick up, like I'm supposed to just enjoy the place for a few warm up balls and not care how I play and score, like I'm supposed to be content just being around the aesthetics of a nice looking course, performance be damned. How unAmerican to prioritize form over function. You don't truly want public or members to get better and further develop their games at your facility, at the expense of more work for you. I know you realize how hot it is outside when hitting balls even when you're under complete shade, and this is from May-Oct, not just a month or two. Cut the greens lower, get even just a 2-4 person shaded area on the range, and I am certain word will get around and more money will flow through the course. I'm not paying $52+ at this time of year to play a course where I can't get my money's worth in practice first, nor feel the speed of the greens resembles anything that I play tournaments on.
