The 3 stars are for how beautiful this day itself is. The course is in rough shape. The pace of play is non-existent. Waiting time, minimum 10 minutes per hole. No ranger in sight. First time here. Last time here. It's a shame.

Nice reasonable Golf Course. $37.00 for 18 holes would a given it more but they are working on their tees so it shortened it down. Shortened the length down but still nice and expensive course.

Nice course here! Good upkeep and fair prices. Enjoyed the back 9 far more. Forgiving fairways. Clean and inviting clubhouse. I would recommend El Rio.

Good 18holes course. We love to play a round when we are in Cape Coral for holidaytime.

El Rio has been a solid executive course (Mostly par 3) for decades. The current owner is a sharp, kind guy, and is always a great host to us floggers. This course is a bit more relaxed making it more enjoyable to me. I can get 36 holes in with a cart and if walking 18 is a nice round. Don't necessarily expect a fast round, course rangers, or Augusta PGA conditions on the course. This is a relaxed, small town course made for a nice easy round that sharpens your short game. A word about the negative reviews I saw: You'll pay twice as much at the some of the other courses in the area. If you want par 4/5 course they're here. But, if you want a simpler game and don't want to break the bank the El Rio's of the world are great! Ok, now that I've cleared the air don't tell anyone else about our little jewel, ok? ;-)
