I play with a fairly large group (36 - 44) every Wednesday, mostly at Volusia County courses. Of the at least six course we play the tee boxes and greens at Hidden Valley are in the best shape of any course, and the fairways up there too. Also has a nice club house. Yes, the course is a bit short (lots of par threes), and one hole (from the whites) has a forced carry over the water, but still a nice day in a generally well laid out course. Look forward to going back.

One of the best golf lessons I ever had! My wife and I had a 1 hour golf lesson with Robert at Hidden Lakes Golf Club - he is a superb instructor and after a few suggestions about my grip on the clubs, Robert had me hitting balls better than I have ever done. 10/10 for Robert, his calm and knowledgeable style of teaching is mixed with humour and a genuine interest in helping you improve your game.

Awful experience today. I am not a good golfer (15 handicap) and I just went to practice on the new Top tracer range and was confronted twice about hitting a few shots out of the perimeter. If I could hit it straight every time I wouldn’t be practicing at hidden lakes as I would be busy on the PGA tour. The worker then claimed I was hitting it past the nets with my driver, which I am unable to carry the back net even with my best shot. I play here very often as I live local to new Smyrna but this is awful and nobody should be expected to never shank the ball while practicing.

I have played this course a lot over the past 20 years and enjoy playing it because as an older retired Navy man the layout and length of the course makes it enjoyable. The course is in really good condition. Now the reason for the one star review my threesome tee off time was 7:56 we played the 1st whole all got bogeys and was teeing off the second whole and the course ranger approached us and told us he had gotten complaints about our slow play and he had a group of 22 players behind us and we were going to back up the rest of the day after our 1st hole and wasted 5 minutes of arguing with us. Then as we R driving up to the 4th green he felt the need to come up to us to try an apologize to us and. Waste more of our time and another argument insued because he should have never talked to us in the first place. I play every Sunday I mainly in Volusia County and never been accused of slow play and been argued with by the Marshall if you have a regular group that tees off at 8 then maybe U should send the last tee time off at 7:45 so that they don’t feel like they are being held up by the group in front of them

Father’s Day morning, we showed up as a family to hit some balls at the range. The range was closed because “no one showed up to pick the balls off the range”. How disappointing & embarrassing! Better off going to Turnbull!
