My wife and I played this course twice while checking out spots to "snowbird". booked online which was super easy. checked in and was offered a special that included a bucket of balls on the range and a lunch at Andreis restaurant for $10. we did it the first time and it was awesome so we did again and they did not disappoint! food was outstanding and the service was great. the golf course was in good shape. spent a good amount of time talking to the ranger Mike on Saturday March 7th about the area and his experience moving to the area years ago. super friendly guy! we ended up having an issue on the 1st tee box with a couple kids that I went and talked to him about and he immediately took care of it. he came out onto the course to check up on us and made us feel very welcomed. if we end up in this area again next winter, we'll definitely be back!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANY EVENT! I recently hosted a baby shower at the Indian River Preserve, and I could not have asked for a better venue and experience! From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The menu selections were great - we chose the brunch buffet was a hit with all my guests! There was so much food and it was all delicious! Marsha, the director of sales and marketing, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire planning process, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Her excellent communication and expertise made the event smooth and enjoyable. All my guests had a fabulous time, and I've received numerous compliments on the venue and the brunch. I highly recommend the Indian River Preserve for any event. Thank you for making this special day unforgettable!

Visited this golf course with some friends and it is a decent course for the price. $60 for 18 holes + $8 lunch special which is hard to beat. The hourse itself had a good layout with somewhat open fairways. The day that we visited was extremely wet and humid. Lots of standing water had a nasty smell and some holes just felt unplayable. Hole #10 was closed for construction so they had a practice hole #19 we used instead. It was very hot the day we played and the trees block a majority of the wind so it felt humid at any point on the course. Clubhouse is nice ans the staff are polite. Cart girls are nice and offer quick service. Adding on the lunch special for $8 was a treat and you can pick certain things on the menu like the burger that normally cost $14 so we enjoyed that. I would return back but maybe after it is not so hot and the greens dry up a bit.

Indian River Preserve absolutely crushed it. What a great little track tucked away in Mims, Florida. Yes, it’s a little on the dry side right now, but don’t let that fool you this place is an absolute gem. The layout is challenging in all the right ways. Plenty of water, trees, and natural swamp areas make placement and course management critical. You can’t just bomb it and hope for the best you actually have to think your way around the course. The greens were in impeccable condition and rolled true all day. Beyond the golf, the people made it even better. From the incredibly kind lady who helped me book my tee time (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name), to the gentlemen in the pro shop and the starter everyone was top-notch. Friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have you there. Great facility, great layout, great people. Had an awesome time and absolutely look forward to playing it again.

I was really hoping that this would be a stellar review. The photos I saw online were obviously from a time long ago because Judge Smails would have lost his ever-loving mind if Bushwood ever looked like this place does right now. The design of the course should be given high praise, if it were maintained properly it would be world class. That said this place is not even close to world class, as a matter of fact it seems to have skipped class. The entire maintenance crew should be replaced with people who actually know how to take care of a golf course. Weeds all over the fairways, tons of bare spots and the rough has not been mowed in at least a week, "sand" traps are just horrible and the staff needs to stop running over the side of it with the equipment. . I know we have had some rain but damn. It would not be a bad idea to scrape and level your cart paths so the do not have deep puddles every 15 feet. Seriously disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go down the road eight miles and play The Great Outdoors util this place gets its stuff together. Really hope someone who loves golf gets the chance to bring this great layout back to life. One bright spot was the starter was super helpful as the Pro Shop staff didn,t arrive until 2 minutes before our scheduled Tee Time.
