Description
La Gorce Country Club is one of South Florida's most historic and elite private clubs, established in the 1920s on dredged Biscayne Bay land (over 2 million cubic yards), with the original 18-hole course laid out by Captain Herbert Charles Coningsby Tippet and opened in 1927. Jack Nicklaus led a major restoration in 1993–1995, preserving classic elegance while enhancing playability, resulting in a challenging layout with strategic bunkering, large undulating greens, water features, and tree-lined fairways that test accuracy and management (around 6,800–7,000 yards, par 72). The course is renowned for superb conditioning, scenic Miami Beach silhouettes, and a world-class standard that places it among Florida's top private tracks. The club commits to excellence with premium facilities, services, and a vision to rank among America's finest. Members enjoy unparalleled prestige, family traditions, dining, and a refined atmosphere in a prime Miami Beach location.
