What a hidden Gem! The Club at Cheval is tucked away in Cheval with a view of a lake and their beautiful golf course. Sundays feature a Brunch Buffet with seafood, fruit, an omelet station, salads, pastas, and other delightful surprises. The talented chef really shows off his skills and changes up the menu every week. There is not a buffet in our area that rivals this one, or even close for the price. The well stocked full bar features a wide selection of bourbons, tequilas, etc. We've enjoyed (amazing) pizza here in the evening, attended a karaoke night, and have never been disappointed with service or food. It's open to the public. Just show your ID at the gate and let the guard know you are coming to The Club.

Went to Tampa to visit my brother in law and he surprised me with a round of golf here. This is by far the the nicest golf course that I have played in. We saw some deer and other wildlife too. Take some extra balls because the course plays narrow and you’ll loose a few if you suck like we do 😂. Also the food at the clubhouse was amazing as well. 10/10 highly recommend. Dalé

First time here. Got a TeeOff deal for $39 on a holiday. The good. The staff were nice and helpful and the course layout is really challenging. Tight fairways and small greens always make for an interesting day. The bad, this course needs some TLC. Starting with the driving range and putting green. Rough shape. For the most part, the fairways were OK, but the greens were horrible. They had just been punched, but that wasn't the problem, some of them looked like Mortar practice ranges. Big divots without grass, big stretches of mud... just not in good shape. The drainage in the sand traps need to be addressed as well. Lots of standing water. I think with some real maintenance work, this course could be one of the best in town...mostly

Used to like it but since management changed I’m really not a fan. I had my kids registered in specialized summer camps and then the new ownership cancelled those camps pretty close to summer so I had to scramble to find other options. That really prompted me cancelling our membership in May….I am still trying to deal with their billing department as I keep getting a previous balance statement (for the 60 day post cancellation payment requirement). Trying to deal’ as I’ve called multiple times, left messages and got no call back. Finally called again today and someone answered from billing and they said I have to either setup an ACH for a cancelled membership or bring/mail them a check (they previously accepted CCs - we had a CC on file with them for payments).

Golf course is in good shape except for the last two greens. My biggest problem today was the playing time. Took over 5 hours to finish my round. Needs better course playing management on days like today. In all I will be back to play again. Fun course and challenging.
