I don’t know who’s supposed to be taking care of this course, but it clearly hasn’t happened in a long time. From the moment we teed off, it was obvious the place is completely neglected. The tee boxes looked like they hadn’t been mowed in weeks—thick, uneven grass that made it hard just to set up a proper shot. The greens were easily the worst part. Instead of anything remotely smooth or playable, they were a mix of sand, dirt, and patchy grass. Putting felt more like guessing how the ball would bounce than actually reading a line. It completely took the enjoyment out of the round. On top of that, the pace of play was painfully slow. There didn’t seem to be any management or oversight keeping things moving, so every hole turned into a wait. What should have been a relaxing round of golf turned into a frustrating, dragged-out experience. Overall, this course is in seriously poor condition and not worth the time or money. Until they invest in basic maintenance and management, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I'm quite upset at myself for going golfing there. TLDR: nice lady at the pro shop, rude starter. Horrible greens. Rental set can probably go out and buy alcohol. Asked for stiff clubs, they didn't have any. No problem. The set was a wilson, all rusted, grips tearing down. Woods all banged up. Already quite mad, wouldn't be that expensive to have some decent sets. Plus, starter tells me: "Did they tell you you need to be done by 7pm?" No, they did not... Fairways were ok. Greens were awfully long, which I could have lived with if there weren't literal craters on the greens. If you're decent at golf, don't putt. You can absolutely chip hitting the ball clean. If you can't do that, obviously don't destroy the greens more than they already are. Maintenance definitely seems to be an issue. Got myself in one greenside bunker and it was fine. No rake. My girlfriend found one alongside a fairway bunker. Only rake we've seen, obviously broken (can't upload video). It's sad, the place looks like it has potential. Wouldn't play there again.

Don’t overlook the reviews! Starting from the top, the experience was absolutely dreadful. From the pro shop to the course conditions and everything in between, it was a nightmare. The staff was incredibly rude, and there was no cart attendant driving around, so be sure to bring plenty of water. While some parts of the course were okay, most of it was incredibly bad. This course, along with the staff, needs a serious revamp because the pricing doesn’t match its quality. You get what you pay for..

Absolute trash of a coarse. Lawn not maintained. The greens have more divots than the t boxes. The cart girl comes once every 24 hours. The man behind the counter has dementia and will have you waiting over 35 min to purchase a pack of balls. Not to mention the constant smell of rotting fish throughout the course. Please save yourself the time and the money and do not come to this corse. Also the fairways are submerged in water be prepared to get covered In mud. Players also putting 90 yards from the fairways to the greens. There is also a lack of rangers managing the course and have constant balls flying from all directions while you are trying to swing. The golf carts also came shutting off and had to get towed twice from the corse. This corse needs to be investigating for fraud. Absolutely abhorrent things were experienced on this corse. If you are looking for some sort of navy seal training this is the place. Muddy greens, rough terrain, constantly being on the lookout for incoming balls, and unpredictable cart shutoffs. I’m pretty sure I aged over 20 years playing in this figuring corse.

Played the East course at Orangebrook Golf & Country Club for a twilight round and overall it was okay value for the area. Paid $78 USD for 18 holes including cart, rental clubs, and even a big bag of tees, you get what you pay for , but hard to beat that in South Florida. The course was in okay shape for the time of year and played just under 4 hours. The 18th hole was makeshift due to recent construction, but understandable given the circumstances. It’s not an especially challenging layout. Fairways are wide with not many hazards, making it ideal for beginners or anyone just looking for a relaxed round. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rental clubs were Wilson Profiles, they’ve seen better days, but for the price, you really can’t complain. Overall, good value and a laid-back place to get a round in Hollywood, Florida.
