Hobe Sound Golf Club is a historic and ultra-exclusive private club in Hobe Sound, featuring an 18-hole championship course originally designed by George Thomas (with later influences and restorations) known for its classic strategic design, mature landscaping, subtle contours, well-placed bunkers, and small greens that reward accuracy and imagination. The par-72 layout (around 6,800 yards) emphasizes tradition, conditioning, and pure golf in a low-key, no-housing setting along the coast. The club maintains a refined, old-school atmosphere with limited membership and a focus on discretion and camaraderie. Members enjoy elite status in the Hobe Sound golf corridor and exceptional quality. It represents one of Florida's most prestigious and low-profile private courses.

Hobe Sound Golf Club is absolutely fantastic and the Staff, well they are 🥇Class‼️ The dining room is currently under renovation and will be even better than before 👏. I highly recommend you check this club out for the golf and dining experience. You will be glad you did. Plus, the Hobe Sound Golf Club has an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on site👏. They are trained and certified in American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. This is SO IMPORTANT because medical emergencies can happen anywhere and when we least expect it 👀. I look forward to returning soon and often🕺

This course is a real gem to play. The layout is challenging, but there is enough width to make it playable for mid handicaps. The architecture is interesting and there is great variety in the holes, especially the green complexes. The conditioning is top notch - especially the greens, which are firm, fast and true. Highly recommend.

challenging golf course superbly maintained with true greens and well structured bunkers. food is excellent. service is excellent and drinks are large and delicious. amiable staff with amenities that fit the needs of the facility and no wasted areas. the best part is that a game is available always seven days a week for golfers or all ability.
