Description

Burnt Pine Golf Club is an exclusive private club in Northwest Florida's Panhandle, centered on an 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1994. The par-72 layout (approximately 7,000 yards) showcases strategic design with rolling terrain, native pines, water features, deep bunkers, and fast, undulating greens that demand precision and course knowledge. It is known for impeccable conditioning and one of the region's premier tests with excellent variety and challenge. The club maintains a low-key, upscale atmosphere with a focus on the game and camaraderie. Members enjoy full amenities including tennis, fitness, pool, fine dining, and a sense of exclusivity in a serene coastal-adjacent setting.

Burnt Pine is 18 holes of pure heaven. I’m in real estate and bring clients here all the time because it never fails to impress. The greens were absolutely perfect today and the course stays in top shape year-round. From the moment you step onto the property you get that executive treatment that makes you look like you actually know what you’re doing. My client walked away blown away and I always leave here reminded why this is one of the best golf experiences on the entire Emerald Coast.

Another well designed track in Sandestin that you should play if you're in the area. Plenty of hazards abound, including water, sand and trees to keep things interesting. Greens were in fairly good shape, as were the fairways. But you can tell this course gets a lot of play, and divots/ball marks are prevalent. Overall a good course, but not my absolute favorite. However I do recommend playing here. Enjoy your round!

Burnt Pine Golf Club is an excellent golf course with small greens and tight fairways. The golf course has excellent conditions, but it lacks scenery except hole 13 and 14. Looking at 5 million dollar homes gets old quickly. Overall, enjoyed this course a lot.

2nd time playing here in a USAMT tournament. This course was our second day course. Again, the course is stunning, and greens are fast but not ridiculous. This is another one that is visually tight, and it is.. the pine trees come into play. They are closer than they appear. Water lurks around. If you get a chance to play it, don't pass the opportunity.

Visited as a guest of the course thanks to the Walton Area Chamber of Commerce’s recent golf tournament. My company, Maranta Copy Co, sponsors the event in an effort to provide a client experience to some of our marketing firms clients. All of those in attendance on my team raved about the course and extended copious amounts of appreciation for the opportunity to experience this private and immaculately maintained course. All of my thanks goes to Megan and Gabi of the the chamber for coordinate the event for our benefit. Special thanks goes to Liam for making the encore MCC staff feel like members today. Thankful for experiences like these, from the Pro Shop with Michael to the club house with all of the courses amazing staff.
