Played the Oaks Course recently and overall had a solid round. The layout is enjoyable with a nice mix of holes and offers a fair challenge without being overly punishing. The greens were in good shape and rolled well. The fairways were quite dry and mostly brown—slightly better than other courses in the area, but still clearly winter conditions. That seems to be normal for this region this time of year, so it’s more of a visual issue than a playability problem. Pace of play was a little slow during our round, which took away slightly from the overall experience. Staff at check-in was friendly and everything was well organized. Overall, a solid public course around Fort Walton Beach and worth playing if you’re in the area.

Golf views were great— make sure to wear proper attire for anyone playing. The cart girl was awesome, had a good time

Love this golf course so much, I became a member. The FWB golf course has two courses. The pines are a lot better than the oaks, but the oaks have been improving significantly lately. The driving range is awesome also! Worth every penny!

Came down for my yearly golf trip. Have been playing here for the last 5 years. Was pleased with the green upgrades and other on course upgrades on The Pines course. The Pines is very well kept. It is a challenging but fair and enjoyable course. However, this cannot be said for The Oaks course. Since I have been playing these courses, The Oaks has always been the worse of the two courses. But this year it was obvious that all of the money they spend is on The Pines. The Oaks was in horrible shape and was nowhere near ready for the summer season. Good luck keeping The Pines in good shape. I don't see The Oaks getting much business. If you are planning on playing this course in the upcoming months, find some members and find out what shape it is in. 4 stars is for The Pines. I would rate The Oaks a 1 star. Do better FWB

Erika was the most amazing and helpful bartender I've ever had. She also helped my favorite band get booked there. It's a hidden gem and I would recommend it all day long!!!!
