We stayed here Memorial Day. The hotel itself was nice, although they were under construction due to the recent hurricanes, which is an understandable reason for the worksites around the property. I’m sure that once construction is complete the grounds will be gorgeous. As for the manatee swim everything was phenomenal. We had the pleasure of being led by Celeste and Dan; A fabulous crew! They were personable and kind, and made sure our experience exceeded our expectations. We did get to see a few manatees despite the murky water! We also saw lots of other wildlife including an alligator. They even brought us down to one of the springs so we could snorkel in clear water. Again, the crew was great. I also love that everything was included (wetsuits and snorkels). Would highly highly recommend this experience and hotel. We certainly will be back!!!

Every time we stay at the plantation things are always perfect. What really shocks me is there room prices. It is very rare to find a resort of this caliber with rates so low. We can get our catermanran into kings Bay with no problem with the boards up and there is always someone there to help us tie up the dingy. The grounds are wonderful and we'll kept. Room was spotless.

Great location. Stayed many times before hurricane here. But hotel rundown. Being renovated. After. Prior hurricane. Locked out of room many times friends and us… instead of painting the fences. They should fix the room locks. All broken. Housekeeping staff most helpful. But front desk staff need to be replaced. Rude. Unhelpful. And argumentative. They are clearly not happy. Management needs to replace. All. We are executive. Members at several hotel groups. Ascend. Pulled out of here. We see why. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. Much better. And nicer options available. Pool empty but some young rude staff. Cam asked us for room no. And made some poor excuse why. 1st rule. If any hotel. Guests come 1st and always right. Heather. Extremely rude. Why she is working there. Have no idea.

Great location great staff these guys care about your experience here and it shows. We booked a manatee tour and the crew at the adventure center went above and beyond for us. Truly thrilled with their level of service. They have some construction going on, so it’s not all open as of June 26’. But will be back.

We stayed here for several days in April 2026. Sadly they are very damaged from Hurricane Helen. They are working to bring it back to it former glory, but still lots of work to be done. Pool is open, but restaurant/tiki bar is not. Spa is closed as well. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that mist amenities were closed before we booked. The room was clean, but sparse in furnishings. A single chair, no table/desk. Understand that they are working hard to bring this resort back to it form glory, just know, they aren't there yet.
