Stopped in at Hernando Oaks Bar & Grill and was seriously impressed! I had the prime rib hoagie with spiral fries, and both were absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and full of flavor. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere had that relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. Definitely a hidden gem — I’ll be back for sure!

Great course overall. Couple of the greens could use some work, but still a great value! Will absolutely be back!

Update: Greens are way better. Everything else is still terrible and the prices are still way too high for the condition. I'll try again next year. Been playing here for 3 years. Used to be a bargain. Doubled the price and let the conditions get worse. I'll try again in a year or so. Silverthorne is way better.

I mentioned to a buddy, "Why haven't we been out here in so long? The course is really good. Lots of challenges. Greats were perfect. Pins were tough. But the tee boxes of had puddles of water on them for some reason—still playable. Loved the course!

After that, we were kindly reminded to return the carts before finishing the back nine—because nothing says ‘premium golf’ like a ticking clock on your rental. So, if you dream of paying full price for half the experience and leaving with a PhD in patience, Hernando Oaks is your dream destination.
