Beautiful course and a great staff. Everything you need is there. We were visiting so we had to rent clubs. They are a newer set in good shape plus a half dozen Callaway balls. The gentlemen at the bag drop were amazing also. I highly recommend playing here if you get the chance.

I played 2 of the three 9 hole courses this past week and found the course very challenging due to the water hazards throughout and the many doglegs. Greens ran true and were firm. I played with current members , who provided excellent information about the holes and what to be aware of. The staff was excellent in greeting you when you arrived in the parking lot and in the pro shop, which was very neat and full of merchandise. There appeared to be a very laid back attitude throughout the course. Jeff Gunning was a pleasure to deal with and he attended to my needs in a very professional, and enjoyable way. He appears to set the tone for the course in how it operates.

Dining at the club was a culinary delight, with a menu that showcased a wonderful variety of delicious dishes, all prepared to perfection. The overall service was impeccable, with friendly and professional staff ensuring that every aspect of our visit was smooth and enjoyable. It was our first time golfing at Spanish Wells and unfortunately had a negative experience. Since their management staff was anything but helpful, I wrote a letter to the CEO of Troon who manages this course and sadly I never heard from the CEO or anyone from Troon. Based on my experience and In my opinion, that course does not warrant the prices they charge and It’s very difficult to navigate from hole to hole since they have 3 courses that are not well marked. Brutally slow paced since they book customers on the course you are making the turn. So you have all these people cutting in front of you and no one managing it. Also the carts are dirty. There are far nicer courses in this area. I won’t waste my time or money going there again.

Update to review-adding photos of Dec 2025 menu. Here's the 2025 Pub menu. Smash burger is good. Impossible burger is ok. Italian wrap would be good without the new chicken strips. They changed the fried chicken tenders from sandwiches and salads to a new one this year, and the new chicken is full of disgusting stringy, inedible parts. I've literally gotten the chicken on a salad and in a wrap, and had to just spit it out on both occasions. Avoid the fried chicken strips in anything. Chef, go back to the old ones, and bring back the SW salad. But, I took photos of the menu to post, because it can't be founds on the website. The pub and outdoor dining are both a nice place to eat. Great neighborhood to own in. Very walkable & bike-able. Very nice neighbors!
