My husband and I moved here 8 years ago, it was the best decision we made. You won’t find a friendly more active village. We all take pride in our homes and yards and it shows. There is always something going on, we are Blessed with many talented volunteers. Arcadia is just “enough” shopping, tolerable traffic. Walmart is right across the street, other stores and Restaurants are a golf cart ride away. A beautiful Golf course as well. We are an hour drive to the beaches and larger scale shopping and a lot of busy traffic . (Incase you miss sitting in traffic😂) We are under new ownership and making adjustments, yes rent has gone up, but so have all the others. New ownership have started making improvements such as adding a very nice dog park and have updated and enlarged the pool areas to make it look like a resort including a large fire pit for anyone in the community to use. That was appreciated very much this winter with record cold temperatures.

We’ve been here for 8 years, and absolutely love it. The people (with a few notable exceptions) are super nice, and we’ve made a TON of friends here. The updated pool area and amenities are phenomenal. There are more than enough activities to satisfy anyone - 18 hole golf course, tennis, lighted pickle ball courts, shuffleboard courts, 2 clubhouses, a ton of entertainment and dances, and the convenience of being able to drive your golf cart to the grocery store and shopping center, and a Walmart center directly across the highway. Overall a wonderful place!

We are snowbirds and have owned a home in AVCC since 2018 and in 2025 we upgraded to a larger house. We absolutely love this community, such good friends and so many things to do. We play golf, pickleball, shuffleboard, cards, games, dances, swim and every now and then stay home (phew). We've made such good friends here. North of the bridge, south of the bridge, Canadians, New Englanders, Northerners, sometimes even people from Ohio! We are Michigander's. 😁 People here are so caring and helpful. If you need a ride, help with your golf cart, house, electrical, plumbing, A/C, or just handyman stuff, somebody is always around who will help. We have made so many memories; we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. The amenities are well maintained, and improvements are happening as I write this. In response to a certain negative review that has been posted in the last week, if you can't be happy here, you probably can't be happy anywhere. I hope you find your happy place...we have. We purchased two years ago and we throughly enjoy the community. A great variety of amenities that are maintained with a full time maintenance department. A wide variety of activities are always available for you to choose or not. Streets are wide and properties are spaced well for privacy. Close proximity to grocery, gas, pharmacy, etc. If you shop and compare you will see the community is an excellent opportunity for snowbirds and/or full time residents.

My husband and I have lived at Arcadia Village for 3 years and we love it. The amenities are incredible. We play pickleball and this community has 4 courts. They’ve just added lights so we can now play after dark. There are numerous activities throughout the week. We are like family here. We lived in another 55+ community prior to AV. There’s no comparison. If you’re considering a 55+ community, you should definitely check us out!
