The fairways are narrow with tall tree lines to make this course a challenge one. The greens are acceptable with good speed and elevation changes. The fairway conditions are the worst part of the course. There are numerous sections of the fairways that need repairs. Some tee boxes are in trouble too. The front 9 is worst than the back 9 on overall conditions. Playing speed can be very slow since there is no ranger to regulate. The course is still playable as there is limited public golf courses in the area.

Tee boxes are bad, fairways are hanging in there - barely, greens have potential but lot of dead and sand spots. Fairways are tight because of tree canopy that requires you to hit it straight. Has several picturesque and fun holes. Given it’s the only public course in Gainesville it’s okay.

This course is Not worth $57. This was our first time playing this course and we will not be coming back. The front nine is in horrible shape. Barely any grass in the fairways. The Tee boxes haven't been cared for in years. The back nine is a little better. All the greens have sand on them and felt like putting in grass not a green. One more thing, the fairways haven't been attended to in a long time. Leaves and sticks all over them.

I have to give an incredible thank you to Luke the gentleman (I believe the GM of the pro shop) that helped us through a very unique situation (one i have not experienced before.) My friend and I were staying about 30 miles away from the course and had scheduled an Uber to get us to the golf course for our round. The driver cancelled our pick up five minutes before his scheduled arrival time and we could not get another Uber to get us there on time. While I was calling Luke at the pro shop to cancel our t-time he contacted Uber from his phone and was able to secure us an Uber, trusting we would repay him when we got there. He went way out of his way to do this for us, and we greatly appreciate his hospitality. The whole experience at Turkey creek was awesome (even though we didn't play as well as we should have.) Thank you again from a couple guys from Maine!

Best public golf around Gainesville and improving every day. Reasonable membership rates. One suggestion...It would be nice to give the members a few perks (priority tee times, free range balls, etc)
