The Peninsula is a premier private club and golf community in Millsboro anchored by a Jack Nicklaus Signature course. The layout is built as a full championship test—around 7,200 yards, par 72—with holes that use the Indian River Bay and Lingo Creek scenery as both backdrop and strategic hazard. It’s a “big property” feel where design, conditioning, and amenities are all meant to read upscale and destination-level. Beyond golf, the club emphasizes an active lifestyle with racquet sports, fitness, and dining that match the community setting. If you’re ranking downstate private golf experiences by prestige and polish, The Peninsula is in that top conversation.

Golf course is excellent! Supreme turf conditions. Requires a pretty straight ball. A lot of water and hazard but forgiving enough for average handicaps. Highly recommend playing.

Golf course is in fantastic condition, except nobody seems to rake the sand traps. Great views of the Indian River Bay especially along holes 7&8. Some difficult holes, but also some easy holes. If you get invited to play out there, don’t even hesitate. Go!
