The clubhouse is nice. All the staff were great and friendly. The putting green area has alot of curves and hills, I liked that. Made putting practice more challenging than just a flat surface. The course is not great for beginners & inexperienced golfers. 😑 I played a junior golf tournament here. I didn't like this course. I think it was built on a swamp! I played the front 9 holes. Every hole had a water hazard. For real, I'm not being dramatic about this. It's true, there is so much water. 7 of the 9 holes had drop zones... Probably because so many people hit the balls in the water. 😭 I might appreciate this course when I get older, but right now, it's a NO for me. But don't take my word for it..I'm only 8 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Course is in great shape. It's an interesting track that needs better signage. If you're playing it for the first time it's a little difficult to find you way around the course. It's also a pretty short course, but the difficulty comes from the layout of the holes.

Attended the Wedding Open House today as the DJ. The space can accommodate up to 180 people, it has be recently remodeled, seems like a great venue, wouldn't know until we DJ'd for an event.

This is a lush links-style option for No Del golfers in Frederica, thanks to the wetlands that surround the course. This is not a "spray and pray" course on every hole...some holes border state wetlands. Your short game skill will be rewarded on the challenging greens. Very friendly service in the Clubhouse. If the Dover AFB C5 crews are working on their "touch and go" landing drills, you will have to pause, since approaches are low and loud. You'll be pleased to hear the rumor that a local auto mogul and his course management partners may be stepping in to keep The Landing more viable for Kent and Sussex golfers for the foreseeable future. This is a local gem, since there are weekday Senior discounts, lots of league play, and a nice course layout. A lively social scene at the Snack Bar next to the Pro Shop, make it an engaging local Delaware stop during beach or shoulder season.

Great course for the low price. Played first week of May 2018 so course conditions were as expected... some patchy spots on greens but really not bad otherwise.. The layout is excellent and fair.. agree with others reviews they need to put more signs up for #10 tee box, easy to get lost... we tee'd off 17 before realizing we were on the wrong hole... Here's where I may lose a lot of friends... would love to see them double the price and do more green maintenance and update facilities a little bit...including the dining/check in area but especially those bridges... a "slow down" sign is not gonna stop serious legal trouble when it collaspes and hurts somebody.. The staff was excellent though.. we were a three 4-some group just passing thru town, they treated us well and made us feel very welcomed on a cold windy day.. I would definitely play here again..
