Harrisville is a 9-hole public course in northeastern Connecticut that feels like a local favorite—friendly, straightforward, and easy to enjoy without a big production. The layout provides a real test of fundamentals: keeping the ball in play, choosing conservative targets, and hitting solid iron shots into greens that reward good distance control. Because it’s nine holes, many golfers either play quick loops or go around twice and treat it as a consistent “beat your score” course. The atmosphere tends to be welcoming and community-driven, which makes it a comfortable spot for beginners while still being enjoyable for experienced players looking for a relaxed round. Overall, it’s a classic small-course experience: simple, honest golf that’s best enjoyed regularly.

What a great round. Aside from shooting 39, the course is in fantastic condition. Greens are perfectly manicured and maintained. It seems this course gets better each and every year. It's a little undersized yardage-wise, but the near perfect conditions of the fairways, greens, fringe, etc, more than make up for the yardage. I will definitely play there again, and soon

Great 9 hole course with an 18-hole round option. We'll groomed and peaceful setting.

For early September after a decent drought the course is in great shape.

Had my first golf round here! Love the clubhouse and the guys working we’re so nice and informative with my million questions. Also, free popcorn!?! Will definitely be back for round 2 & beyond!

Had a great time here! We had a group of 4 and golfed 9 holes. Golf carts ran great, course was cut and clean, staff was also super friendly. We arrived 10 minutes after our tee time and they still accounted us on a busy July 4th weekend. Will definitely be back!
