Played Traditional Golf Club at Oak Lane for the first time and was really impressed. The course was in fantastic condition—some of the best tee boxes I've played all year, fast and true greens, and very playable bunkers. The layout is challenging without feeling gimmicky. Driving accuracy is a must, as the rough and tree-lined holes will definitely punish misses. The practice facilities are excellent, with a great range plus dedicated putting and chipping areas. Pace of play was excellent for a weekend muni, and the staff made us feel like guests from the moment we arrived. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Played here for the first time on Saturday, and I'll definitely be back. The course was in fantastic condition from tee to green. The greens rolled true and were impressively fast, making for a fun challenge. I also spent more time in the bunkers than I would have liked based on how I was playing, but I must give credit where it's due; they were some of the best-maintained sand traps I've played out of. I really liked the overall practice facilities as well. Having a grass driving range, chipping area, and practice putting green made it easy to warm up before the round. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the experience even better. One final note that has absolutely nothing to do with my rating of the course, but Cooper in the clubhouse was a great bonus. Excellent course, excellent staff, and an all-around great day. I highly recommend playing Traditions Golf Course at Oak Lane.

Pace of play was proactively managed by the ranger. This is the first public course I’ve played in a long time that kept the pace moving during busy weekend golf. I’m grateful this previously-private course is open to the public and I can enjoy playing it. Real grass driving range. Nice wide, open layout and plays long enough to make for plenty of challenging 2nd shots.

Really enjoyed this course. Played yesterday and thought it was a real gem. Some elevation changes, some water and a nice layout. Best part was the greens. Very fast and true. Some breaks but the slopes were challenging but not ridiculous. Will be back.

The course is in great shape and is a fun layout. Some of the truest rolling greens around - they really do a great job there. The staff/starter is always kind and helpful. Upgraded carts with the latest tech are a nice touch also if you ride.
