Hartford Golf Club is a historic private club in West Hartford with a deep golf pedigree and a true “classic New England parkland” identity. The club offers 27 holes, and the design heritage is tied to golden-era architecture, which shows up in the strategic angles and the way greens and approaches ask for thoughtful placement. It’s not just about length—many holes are built to reward correct positioning, and the course can feel demanding even when you’re striking it well because misses often leave tricky recoveries. The club has a strong competitive and championship history, but it still reads as a full-service, member-first environment with a robust calendar and amenities. If you’re describing it in one line, Hartford is traditional private-club golf with real architectural character and a reputation that’s earned over time.

This place is beautiful, food is excellent, but I can't even come close to affording the golf!

We lived within walking distance of the Hartford Golf Club (Norwood Road )as kids and I remember my brother used to go diving for golf balls in the water hole. He always was an entrepreneur)

Great looking course with wonderful amenities. The food is quite good and the grounds are gorgeous. We had our chamber annual golf event there and all went very well. We'll consider the venue for years to come

A beautiful facility and surroundings. The staff is very good and constantly in motion. We are not members but attend a luncheon here each year. We look forward to next year.
