Crestbrook Park is the City of Watertown’s 18-hole municipal course and a classic example of solid, affordable public golf in western Connecticut. The layout is straightforward enough for higher handicaps to enjoy, but it has plenty of holes where positioning matters and you can quickly get out of rhythm if you spray it. The course has a friendly local feel—leagues, regulars, and a steady stream of casual rounds—so it’s a good “home course” option for golfers in the area. Conditions often play a big role in how it scores; when greens are smooth and the fairways are firm, it becomes a more legitimate test. Overall, Crestbrook is a dependable muni 18: approachable, community-driven, and easy to play often without breaking the bank.

Love this course! I may be a bit biased because it’s right down the road but it’s always in great shape and has a diverse landscape with plenty of challenge. The staff is absolutely great and helpful with anything you throw at them. I highly recommend making a tee time in advance because they fill up quickly!

Was a great experience! We had a bachelor party and they allowed us to play 6 people together on Labor Day weekend! The golf pro just wanted to make sure we had a good time being that we were there for a bachelor party. The golf pro even came out during our round and gave us tips on drivers and irons! They even told us to spread the word and let others know! If you have friends and family to that want to get into golf it’s a great place, even said they would allow groups of 8! For big parties definitely book these guys!
