The Country Club of Waterbury is a traditional private club with a strong local reputation and a full-service member experience. The course plays through classic Connecticut terrain and is built to reward steady tee-to-green golf rather than constant hero shots. It tends to feature a balanced mix of holes—some gettable, some demanding—so the round stays engaging for many skill levels. As with many established clubs, the greens and surrounding areas often define scoring more than sheer yardage. Overall, it’s classic private-club golf: community-oriented, well-rounded, and designed for repeat play.

Played here twice with the CT Am Tour and it’s my favorite private course I’ve ever been to. It’s hard, beautiful and premium. If you get the chance to play there as a guest (or you can afford a membership) it’s more than worth it.

Just recently had my baby shower at CCW where my father-in-law is a member for years. From beginning of planning until the end of the event, everything went smoothly and turned out perfect! Mike was AMAZING.. such a help throughout the process.. and boy, did we run him through the mill! The waitstaff was also amazing.. especially Nikki, who was so attentive and accommodating. Food was perfect, and the views were breathtaking. Thank you so much for everything!! Highly recommend for any events you may need :)

Great day for some golf, we may not have won the tournament, but we sure cleaned up in the raffles! Course was very clean, greens were in great shape.
