Quinnatisset is a private club in Thompson that offers a traditional, community-driven golf experience in Connecticut’s Quiet Corner. The 18-hole course has a classic New England feel, where trees and terrain influence strategy and accuracy matters more than raw power. It’s designed for repeat member play—fair but not easy—with holes that reward smart placement and disciplined approaches into greens. The club atmosphere is typically welcoming and local, with leagues and member events providing much of the seasonal rhythm. Overall, Quinnatisset is understated private-club golf: traditional, scenic, and built around a loyal membership culture.

What a pleasant surprise and a fantastic 1903 private golf course. Great holes, very good conditions [especially during a drought] awesome members and a very talented PGA Professional - Andy. Loved the interesting history of the club, the area and estates nearby. Thank you Gerry for inviting me - had a great time.

Great golf course, very simple, basic services golf club - few "country club" type amenities.

As a 36 yr member there who moved south in 2020, I recently returned and played golf with the group and was again impressed with the conditions. Although not shocking, I really thought the changes made were well thought out. Superintendent Jeff Tibbettsand crew continue to do a fabulous job.

Played as a guest with my neighbor. Great layout, challenging holes and in excellent condition. A few blind shots. Would be more comfortable next round. Highly recommend

Beautifully maintained property with unique stone accents. Mark is very helpful in the club house and some new improvements to a few holes this year are very exciting.
