Rockrimmon in Stamford is a private club with a classic Fairfield County feel and an 18-hole layout that rewards thoughtful shot-making. The course is known for strategic demands—tree lines, hazards, and angles into greens often dictate a conservative plan, and it can punish overly aggressive misses. It’s a course that tends to feel “bigger” than it looks on paper because recovery shots can be difficult when you’re blocked or out of position. The club experience is polished and member-first, often with a strong league and event culture that keeps play active. Overall, Rockrimmon is traditional private golf: strategic, refined, and built around repeat member play.

The club is beautiful, food was delicious, the course looked to be in spectacular shape. Sadly I was there for an event and wasn't able to play. However, my 4 star rating could have easily been 5 stars!!! The rainbow was special!

Greay place to have an event. Our organization had a social event/ dinner with an educational talk. The food and service were excellent.

Prestigious country club in Stamford, Connecticut with a beautiful dining hall, attentive staff and exceptional food made my lunch experience one to remember. Hardly a minute passed with my water being less than half full before a staff member came over and refilled my cup. I went slightly unconventional with my food order for a country club, but the poke bowl delivered with fresh ingredients that made for a delicious meal. Looking forward to seeing what the golf course plays like as it looked well kept and beautiful from the dining hall view.

The course looks beautifully well maintained, the staff is very nice, the club is lovely, simulators are spacious and modern, and the proshop is great. The best is their Head Pro who is very friendly and knowledgeable!

I held my annual charity golf outing here last week and this place did not disappoint! GM and Head Golf Pro are spectacular to deal with and they both know how to put on a class A tournament! Already booked our 2024 outing!
