The Club at River Oaks in Sherman is a private club experience built around a scenic, tucked-away property in western Connecticut. The golf course is designed to be strategic and repeatable, rewarding players who value placement and smart angles over constant power. The overall vibe tends to feel relaxed and community-oriented, more “home club” than flashy destination. The layout usually plays best when you respect trouble and focus on leaving yourself comfortable approach distances. If you’re describing it simply, it’s a refined, low-key private club where golf and lifestyle amenities blend naturally.
