Silvermine in Norwalk is a public-access, membership-style golf facility that offers an 18-hole round with a “clubby” feel while still welcoming daily-fee play. The course is traditional in routing, with holes that reward accuracy and smart placement rather than constant driver aggression. It tends to play fair, but it can be demanding when you miss in the wrong places, because recovery angles and green-side shots can become challenging. The facility is popular for leagues and repeat play, which gives it a lively rhythm and a strong local following. Overall, Silvermine is a great example of “semi-private style” golf in Fairfield County—approachable, repeatable, and oriented toward regular golfers.

Beautiful course, perfectly maintained with an amazing staff and friendly members. Some of the nicest tee box views around, especially the 16th hole -- possibly the most picturesque and breathtaking vista in FF County.

The staff there is amazing. Lou does a fine job of managing the clubhouse and the food is quite good.

Fantastic course. Super well maintained. The staff and the golf pros all do a phenomenal job. It’s very clear how much they care for the members, and how much passion they have for the game of golf. Would recommend this course to anyone.

This is one of the the best courses for grounds maintenance in Connecticut. Very friendly staff from first tee to 19th hole. Greens are exceptional. Highly recommended!
