Indian Hill in Newington is a private club with a classic 18-hole parkland layout and a strong community-oriented membership culture. The course is designed to be enjoyable for repeat play, with holes that reward steady driving and smart positioning rather than demanding constant hero shots. It’s the type of club where leagues and member events are a big part of the experience, so the course tends to be set up to keep play moving while still providing meaningful challenge. The greens and approach shots often determine scoring—if you’re not on the correct side, pars can quickly become bogeys. Overall, Indian Hill is a traditional Connecticut private club: friendly, well-rounded, and anchored by a course built for consistent member play.

This is the best 9 hole course I've ever played. Everything was in great shape and the greens were perfect.

Great course, not the longest but challenging in every way. Best greens in CT for sure, they are very slick and run true. You need to play your shot short to accommodate for the fast greens. Always in great shape and pace of play is outstanding. Indian hill could use some more amenities. Restaurant is great! A true hidden gem.

Had my daughters rehearsal dinner here. Food was fabulous. Only 1 server for 30 people so it went slow. We paid for a bar in the room but they set it up in the bigger room making our guest have to cross into that room to get a drink. Didn't think we should have been charged for that.
