The Orchards is a public course known for being approachable, community-friendly, and easy to fit into regular play. The layout generally emphasizes steady golf and smart decisions rather than punishing players with constant forced carries or extreme penalty. It’s the kind of course where you can score well if you keep the ball in play and stay patient around greens. Many golfers enjoy it as a reliable, repeatable option—comfortable for beginners, but still enjoyable for experienced players chasing a good number. Overall, The Orchards is dependable everyday public golf with a welcoming vibe and a fair test.

Went on Father's Day, a little crowded at first, but it's a beautiful course. We rented a cart, but most of the golfers were walking the course. Par was and par 4's

One of the best 9 hole courses in Ct. If you are a new or a regular golfer great place to tune up your game.

I liked this golf course when I lived in CT over 3 years ago now... About every 6-12 months they re-sign me up for their email list (and seemingly distribute my email to others since I get emails from other courses around the same time). I must have unsubscribed 5+ times at this point. Do not give this organization your email address! Use a throwaway if you're using their online booking software.
