A beautiful course on a beautiful day... too bad my game wasn't beautiful! That said, I had 2 great playing partners and a good time. I thought the greens were fairly fast following a good rain. Much of the course is like playing on a carpet! So thick and lush. Kudos to the greens keeping crew! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, what else can you ask for?

My group was having a great time at Shennecossett until the ranger decided he had a problem with us stopping at the club house for a drink. With no one behind us or in front of us, he told us we weren't allowed to stop on the back 9. His exact words, "You've just lost your place in line and are messing up everyone else's tee times." He was also slurring his words, definitely drinking on the job. What's the point of having a clubhouse if you can't use it? I won't be coming back and do not recommend, better courses on the shoreline.

Horrific behavior from the old man starter. Playing golf for 35 years I've never met a more rude, inconsiderate, mean golf course employee. Followed us around the course harassing us. Only time in my life I've ever wanted my money back for a round of golf.

Love this course. Links style golf always has it's challenges, you'll use all the clubs in your bag. Target golf.

I booked a tee time with a nice young guy and we have never played this course before and we were excited until I called to try and change times and I had a very rude guy on the phone !! It really upset me I told him his phone was very muffled so he started screaming rudely !! I said forget this place if I was treated as such !! Plus the cost is ridiculous!! No way to treat people especially when I was just trying to enjoy my Fathers Day with my youngest son!!
