Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich is a private, member-focused club founded in the early 1960s with an emphasis on being welcoming and family-oriented while still centered on golf. The course is a full 18-hole layout and has a reputation for contrasting feels between nines—more open in spots early, more wooded and demanding later—so the round evolves as you go. It’s the type of place where the “club” matters as much as the course, with a strong set of amenities and social programming that makes it a year-round community for members. Competitive golf is part of its DNA, but it maintains an approachable atmosphere rather than an ultra-stiff vibe. If you’re summarizing it, Burning Tree is classic Greenwich private-club golf with a strong family/amenity backbone and a course that provides a real test.

I attended the Opus Exodus event presented by The Tobacconist of Greenwich. The event was spectacular and the club provided the servers I believe and the food/drinks. The surf and turf was amazing, highly recommended.

First time visiting with a member for a mutual friends celebration. A truly great experience with the ambience, setting and dining experience all being exemplary with outstanding attentive service! Looking forward to returning..

Joined a recent school reunion and the serving staff was great but giving 1 star as food was served in paper cups and was truly terrible. It made me think of Howard johnson on 95 years ago. They need to rethink food for events

This was my second visit to this lovely establishment and both were delightful. Ambience, service and meals were perfection in both presentation and flavor. The staff is extremely polite and knowlegable and makes you feel very much at home! Look forward to future visits!

The golf course is great, the staff is welcoming. The food is great, one thing they can work on is there camp coming from a kid the camp is not the most fun with all of the rules. I would give it a 5 star but I can’t because of the camp, 4 STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
