Minnechaug is a public 9-hole course in Glastonbury that’s built for convenience and repeatable, walk-friendly golf. The course is approachable for beginners, but it still provides real shot value—greens, hazards, and angles create decisions that reward smart targets and controlled distance. Many golfers use it as a practice-friendly option: play a quick nine, then loop again for 18 with a better plan and sharper execution. Because it’s a smaller course, scoring often comes down to wedges, short irons, and putting, making it a great place to sharpen the parts of your game that matter most. Overall, Minnechaug is a strong “quick golf” choice in the Hartford area—casual, efficient, and more strategic than it looks on paper.

Great little course in Glastonbury. Only 9 holes but beautiful par 3 holes end the course. $23 to walk and rent a pull cart for 9 holes. I will be back.

This is in between residential areas. It's decent value for the money. Ranges from 20$ to 30$ for 9 hole with a cart. The fairway are narrow on few holes with house on both sides and the roughs are really rough and not well maintained. The greens were decent. We lost quite a few balls into the houses or the woods. If you are good with your driver you can go through this course quickly. Loved the Hole 8 as it's an island hole and it was challenging and fun. Hole 9 is also over water and was challenging.

Good spot to get a quick nine done. Course is well kept. Last few times I went I didn't see a kart with drinks. That was the only disappointment.

Nice course to play for a quick 9. Couple of Challenging holes, bring some extra balls for hole 8. Check in was easy and course played a good pace. Will definitely be back.
