Wife and I attended a wedding here for friends of ours and it was simply beautiful - both the venue and the ceremony. The area is safe and relatively quiet. I have not played golf here, but I am confident that the golf courses are just as nice…

Our wedding at Tunxis Country Club was everything we dreamed and more- I cannot have imagined hosting our day anywhere else. The venue is PERCECT, with space for folks to spread out and enjoy different elements but never really be too far, the ceremony was set in a field that felt ethereal, and the pavilion is lit with a starry tree and ceiling, maintaining the romantic (and party) vibes all night. Not one thing here is nickeled or dimed, so your guest count really is the deciding factor on how your bill will look- helping to relieve stress while receiving so much upon inclusion. Our manager, Camille was and is an absolute queen. She was like a trust worthy friend we could lean on in our apprehensions of the day’s logistics. She saw and understood our vision, AND somehow made it even better. She did EVERYTHING on the day (which was tough for our don’t-burden-others mindset) she really didn’t let us or our bridal party life a finger. Finally, no matter how many weddings she’s executed, she made us feel like the only one that mattered. We love Camille and TCC!

I love coming out for a nice round of nine with the boys. But this is unnecessary. Are we even trying? I paid $28 to play this BS. You could pay 20 to buy a bag of grass seed. might as well just go home and hit off my mat into a net. anyways, this pace of place BS again. How you love waiting half an hour each T shot. You think this is a country club? No this is a broken club.

Absolutely blown away by the transformation this season. The beverage carts have a much better selection than last season and the bar got an upgraded menu which has heartier options. The course has made some major improvements—clearing out a significant number of trees has completely opened up the layout, improving both playability and overall aesthetics. The upgrades are noticeable everywhere you look, from the fairways to the greens, which are now in fantastic condition. Having 45 holes already makes this place special, but the way they’ve elevated the entire experience compared to last season is impressive. Everything feels cleaner, more refined, and much better maintained. Pace of play has improved, sightlines are better, and the course just feels more enjoyable overall. It’s clear a lot of time and investment went into these changes, and it absolutely paid off. Easily one of the best-conditioned courses in Connecticut right now—highly recommend getting out here if you haven’t yet this season.

Honestly, I'd have given 2.5 stars if I could. Courses are not hard... as long as you can keep the ball on the fairway. Rough is really "rough" - long and thick grass. I lost many balls in the rough. So...the course holds you accountable to focus and make sure you hit the ball straight. Positive. FlexPass. Best in the area. Monthly membership with no restrictions, other than you can only book once a day. Negative. High green fees! Too much for an average course. I mean greens are not quick, layout is simple, bunkers have average sand. Real negative. If you playing here during the weekend, during day time, expect at least 5 hour a round. My buddies and I are quick - if there's no one in front of us, we can finish the 18 holes in 3 hours. BUT... during the weekend, A LOT OF kids play here (college or recently graduated?). They do not have basic etiquettes nor follow general rules, but they have no consideration for others. If you are not a good player, pick up the ball when you are holding up the line! AND the worst part is, I call the proshop multiple times a round for a ranger, but usually nothing happens. If it wasn't for the FlexPass, I would not play here.
